Press Trips 101

 There is a reason that Max and I extended our press trips, it is like going back for a refresher course in traveling. While we do take press trips we also try to go it alone every once and a while, to see and not be shown. In fact I frequently ask to push my flight back and stay to study a place. It is the times we screw up that we remember. Feeling cocky about riding the rails so easily the last few days, I got a great lesson this morning.

I headed to the Gare (station) this morning at a leisurely pace thinking I had all the time in the world. When I got to the station I found out that Avignon has two stations and I was at the wrong one. With my departure nearing I had to grab a costly cab and head to the TVG Gare. The TVG station was more like an airport but I just caught my train to Lyons. Train travel 101 Thanks for the lessons Rail Europe the pass has worked great its just me that needed tuning!
