Made my first rail trip today but it wasn’t easy, stations can be confusing. Within a few hours though I checked into the Hotel de Cite in Carcasonne. Room 216 is lovely with a balcony that overlooks the towers and the city below. Walked miles today with my castle home always in view, stunning!
