Le Somail in Midi

 Le Somail is the last town on the Canal du Midi that we visited and was also my favorite. The stone bridge that links both sides of the village dates from the canals building. The local shop is on a barge and besides every day items it has fresh bread and delicious confits and chevriers. The food in the region has been outstanding and it is time to cut back.
