New at the
NY Times Travel Show this year is
“Taste of the World.” Chefs from around the world are giving cooking demonstrations and booklets are available with recipes. Dishes from France, India, Mexico and Greece are some of the offerings. A US entrée is the “Best Hot Dog in America.” They are in simple terms dogs with a Creole sauce, complete with green peppers and diced tomatoes.
Last night I shocked Lil by skipping my usual Italian choice for dinner and went French.
Le Bateau Ivre was great and priced far better than one would think in NYC and had a very authentic bistro atmosphere. http://www.lebateauivrenyc.com/
