Best Safari Luxury Lodge

Over dinner this weekend I was asked a question that I get frequently, what is your favorite hotel? While I do have many, that night an answer came immediately, Royal Malewane Luxury Safari Lodge. The lodge is located within the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The freestanding suites are a colonial style marvel and the bathroom elegant. Sitting in the claw foot tub next to the wall to ceiling windows is marvelous. The wood terrace with private spillway pool smack dab in the bush unbeatable, the food gourmet and wines superb. The hardest part of staying was leaving the place for the twice-daily Range Rover trips out to meet the big five, face to face! Wake me up I think I’m dreaming!
