I feel like I am becoming an expert in skin cancer care, the stitches were removed today. I hardly flinch anymore when I hear that it will take at least six months for the healing process to be complete. I am able to joke a bit with the staff and doctor and do realize that in essence I am lucky cause it could have been something untreatable. It is going to be a snowy late night and day coming and I look forward to the peaceful feeling I get when snow blankets the area. The wood has been brought in and fridge filled, prepping for a storm is also something I like. I have three pieces in progress and getting snowed in is a great time to write, all is well.
