Praise the Lord and pass the pillow, At least that’s what I thought I heard as I awoke this early morning on Hamilton Island. It was just an Evangelist preacher on the TV that I left on last night. It was one of the longest travel days I’ve ever had yesterday, NYC to LAX to Brisbane then to Hamilton, one of the Whitsunday Islands. Over thirty hours of traveling then a 15 minute break before putting around to discovering this remarkable island. Top that off with a dinner event and this puppy was pooped! Still it is amazing to be on an island on the Great Barrier Reef. The cockatoo birds frequently fly by my balcony on the 15th floor of the Reef View Hotel and true to its name the reef is indeed within view.
We had a dinner last night at the Island’s premier restaurant Qualia last night but it is a blur, time lag fatigue will do that. Stunning is Hamilton and its location. Add in some fantastic building and viola, paradise, even the preacher on TV would think so. I will be posting a blog soon about an amazing job opportunity here on Hamilton. Just a warning I may also apply.
