Chowing Down in County Down

It has been years since I have been to Northern Ireland and am quite pleased with being back. There is little signs of the past troubles as the picture of the Red Hand of Ulster shows its age. The curbs aren't painted with colors denoting Prod or Catholic as once was. What I am finding is great food and beautiful sernery, here in County Down. The lunch at Ballo House was of Strangford Lough crab over pasta was amazing. Dinner at the Buck's Head in Dundrum fit for a king, things food wise in Ireland have changed. Perhaps the concentration
in food quality can be measured against the drop in violence, no troubles here.
