Early Winter Start ?

The frost is on the pumpkins and Canadian Geese are feeding on the local ponds like cars do at rest stops on the Thruway. It is clear that with the snow falling recently winter is coming. According to the Farmer's Almanac it is going to be a cold and snowy winter in the Northeast.
