Hamburg and the Sea

I arrived in Hamburg and hit the streets running, even though it is a holiday here. It was great to see Hamburgers enjoy a day off and I happened upon the Hafenfest der Welt. The harbor was filled with ships and a carnival atmosphere prevails, it’s a great time to visit this city that has an eye to the water, more bridges than Amsterdam, London and Venice combined. I walked miles just getting my bearings for my appointments in the morning. I am going to love this city!
