French Tourism, Tribeca Grill and the Meeting of Travelers

A lot of my time is spent heading into NYC to meet others involved in the travel writing world. There is however one event I try my best to never miss and it is the French Tourism bash. Always done well and so many wonderful people to run into, many I have traveled with many times. It is also a chance to meet again with my favorite Francophile, Katherine Johnstone. The setting at the Tribeca Grill is perfect and the food and wine wonderful. It just seems to always work perfectly in everyway. In the picture are my old buddy and GoNOMAD editor Max and a new friend I recently met in Italy, Eric Hastings from WABC radio and the Compulsive Traveler. I can assure you that at this event the smiles are real.
